About Me

Hi! I’m Amy Lamb. I am a women’s, men’s and pelvic health physiotherapist working in sunny Cairns at Control Physiotherapy. I work in a little known area of physiotherapy that tackles issues below the belt to get you back to being you. I have a special interest in treating such health concerns as:

  • incontinence;
  • pelvic organ prolapse;
  • pre- and post-prostatectomy continence and erectile dysfunction; pelvic pain; sexual dysfunction; pelvic girdle pain and many more. I am passionate about helping people to get back to doing the things that they love.


Amy graduated from the University of Sydney in 2011 in with a Bachelor of Applied Science in Physiotherapy. Amy pursued numerous short courses and conferences in the specialist area of pelvic health and completed a Graduate Certificate in Pelvic Floor Physiotherapy in 2016 at the University of Melbourne. She has lived and worked in Sydney, the UK, the Northern Territory and North Queensland. Amy loves bushwalking, speaks Spanish and loves learning.
